Opotek takes hardware from a working prototype to a manufacturable product: validation builds, test fixtures, programming jigs, DFM/DFT analysis and BOM support. The goal is production files that have already been proven on real hardware.

What are EVT, DVT and PVT?

EVT (Engineering Validation Test) checks that the design works. DVT (Design Validation Test) checks that it meets the specification and regulatory requirements. PVT (Production Validation Test) checks that the production line builds it repeatably.

What does production support include?

EVT builds, bring-up, iteration and validation.
Test fixtures and programming jigs for the factory floor.
DFM and DFT analysis of electronics and mechanics.
BOM review: sourcing, alternates and cost reduction.
Production documentation and handover to the manufacturer.
